Each year, before the start of the new year, teams from each school gather at the CHAT Center to “manufacture” the initiatives and goals that will help their school and the District ensure success in the upcoming year. The teams from each school include administrators, teachers, parents, and students. It’s hard work, but it’s a practice that has helped the Walton County School District rise to the number three school district in the state of Florida. The energy in the room after Superintendent Hughes spoke was electrifying! After the initial presentation, Superintendent Hughes visited with each school team personally to discuss their goals and ensure our trajectory to the number 1 school district in the state!
