The Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 was reauthorized under the Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015. The Walton County School District Federal Programs Department oversees the following programs:

• Title I Part A: Improving the Achievement of Disadvantaged Children and Youth

• Title I Part D: Prevention and Intervention Programs for Children and Youth who are Neglected, Delinquent, or At-Risk 

• Title II Part A: Teacher and Principal Training and Recruiting Fund

• Title IV Part A: Student Support and Academic Enrichment

• Title IX Part A: McKinney-Vento Services for Families in Transition
