2025-26 Florida Instructional Materials’ K-12 Health and Physical Education, Performing and Visual Arts, World Languages; 9-12 Career and Technical Education and 6-12 Additional English Language Arts Adoption

On January 6, 2026, Walton County School District’s textbook adoption committee will begin reviewing materials submitted to the Florida Department of Education (FDOE) for the 2025-26 Florida Instructional Materials adoption for the K-12 Health and Physical Education, Performing and Visual Arts, World Languages, 9-12 Career and Technical Education and 6-12 Additional English Language Arts. The meeting will be held from 8:00 – 3:00 at the Carlene H. Anderson Training Facility located at 555 Walton Road, DeFuniak Springs, Florida. The meeting is open to the public.

A print copy of each submission may be accessed in Professional Development Center building at the Tivoli Administrative Complex, 145 Park Street, DeFuniak Springs, FL. Materials will be available for review beginning January 15, 2026, from 8:00 – 3:45PM. Please call 850-892-1100, extension 1548, to set up an appointment to access the materials.
