- Anything But A Backpack Day
- The ๐๐จ๐ฐ๐๐๐ซ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐๐ ๐ ๐๐ฆ๐ will be held on Thursday at 3:00. We'll be following a modified bell schedule (see below). The cost for students & parents to attend will be $2. Parents that want to attend need to present their ID and $2 in the front office, where they'll receive a visitor's pass and ticket. Parents will sit on the visitor's side. Girls interested in playing should see Mrs. Zodrow during lunch to sign up. The first 15 girls from each grade level that meet the requirements below will be allowed to play:
* Must pay $2 entry fee
* Must not have any referrals
* Must have a 2.0+ GPA
* Must not have any attendance issues
- The ๐ญ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ ๐๐ญ๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ญ๐ฒ will be held on Thursday from 6:00 to 7:00. All WHS students are invited, and free food, music, and games will be provided. Students will need to be dropped off at the student parking lot and walk by the tennis courts to the football practice field.
- The ๐๐จ๐ง๐๐ข๐ซ๐ will be held on Thursday at 7:00. Students may walk over from the tailgate party. Parents should pick up from the student parking lot at approximately 7:30.
- ๐๐ค๐ข๐ญ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐๐๐ฌ will be held at 7:45 p.m. for freshmen / 8:00 p.m. for sophomores / 8:15 p.m. for juniors / 8:30 p.m. for seniors.
- ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฐ๐๐ฒ ๐๐๐๐จ๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ will be from 7:45 to 9:30 p.m.
Friday, September 25
- Brave Takeover Day
- The pep rally will be held from 10:25 to 11:25 a.m. This will be an early release day for DeFuniak schools. (Bell schedule is below.)
- Students in DeFuniak schools will be dismissed at 11:25 a.m.
- The parade will begin at 2:30 and will run the entire lake yard loop (starting at the corner of Hubbard & Circle Drive). If you'd like to participate, please contact Capri Zodrow by email at zodrowca@walton.k12.fl.us or by text (850-830-1035). Please include your name, the organization you're associated with, and a good contact #. The entry fee is $10 per vehicle. Payment may be made via GoFan - https://gofan.co/event/6912411. Students that want to participate in the parade should see Mrs. Zodrow in room 217. Line-up for WHS students will be at Walton Middle School's bus ramp at 2:00 p.m.
- The ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ญ will be presented at 6:30 p.m. All court members need to report to the football field at 6:00 p.m.
- The Braves ๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐๐จ๐จ๐ญ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ team will kick off against Freeport at approximately 7:00. Gates will open at 5:30. Tickets: https://gofan.co/event/6507764?schoolId=FL21427
- - The ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 p.m. (The starting time may be slightly earlier or later depending on the football game's ending time.) Tickets cost $10 and will be available for purchase at the dance for Walton High students only. Girls dress code:
- Dresses must be at least mid-thigh in length.
- Midriffs should NOT be exposed (front & sides).
- Dresses may be strapless or have spaghetti straps.
- Excessive cleavage is not allowed.
