NWFSC in-person PERT testing:
- DeFuniak Center – Tuesdays & Thursdays (appointment required; call 850-502-2895, ext. 4102)
- Crestview Center – Mondays & Wednesdays (appointment required at https://www2.registerblast.com/nwfsccrestview/Exam/List)
- All other NWFSC campus and center locations are operating in their normal capacity for in-person PERT testing.
** Don't forget you must bring your photo ID to take the PERT exam. **

Mental Health Education and Support
Walton High School is utilizing Compass Curriculum in select periods to help promote and support student mental health. The State Board of Education passed a rule requiring every Florida public school to provide students in grades 6-12 at least five hours of mental health instruction each year. Compass Curriculum is a district- and state-approved mental health curriculum resource. It includes specific practices for building awareness of, modeling, and eliciting social/emotional and mental health competencies and addressing behavioral issues in language arts, social studies, sports, and advisory settings.

As part of its mission to serve its community, Ellison McCraney Ingram Foundation, Inc. (EMIF) has established a scholarship fund to provide support for eligible students that are pursuing an undergraduate collegiate degree or vocational / technical school certificate.
Eligible candidates are graduating seniors or recent graduates (within one year) during the scholarship application year and are either beneficiaries of any of the Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation (DCWAF) charities, or students that have exhibited outstanding scholastic achievement, leadership or financial need.
