Third grade students at WDE recently brought learning to life with the exciting Four Corners AVID strategy! This interactive approach helps students sharpen their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills in a fun and meaningful way. Presented with a thought-provoking question or a bold statement, students move to one of the four corners of the room—each labeled with a different opinion or response. Once in their chosen corner, they dive into lively discussions, sharing their ideas and defending their choices. It’s a powerful way to get students thinking deeply, speaking confidently, and learning from one another!
