2023-24 Science Adoption

Walton County School District’s science textbook adoption committee completed the review of materials submitted to the Florida Department of Education (FDOE) for the Florida Instructional Materials adoption for K-12 Science. The submissions recommended in the link below have met the criteria established by the FDOE and appear on the Florida K-12 Science Short Bid Report.

A public hearing has been scheduled for May 7, 2024 to receive comments on the recommended materials prior to their adoption. The recommended materials will be submitted for School Board adoption during the May 21, 2024 board meeting.

A print copy of each submission may be accessed in the Professional Development Center building at the Tivoli Administrative Complex. Materials are available for review from 8:00 – 3:45PM. Please call 850-892-1100, extension 1363 to set-up an appointment to access the materials.
