Dr. Tate brings 27 years of varied outstanding experience in education and a proven record of passionate, student-centered leadership. Before joining Walton County, she served as a classroom teacher, guidance counselor, assistant principal, and principal, building a career dedicated to helping students and educators thrive. Prior to her appointment at DeFuniak Springs Learning Center she has served Walton County as the guidance counselor at Walton High School, where she has made a lasting impact on students and staff alike.
