Tropicana Public Speaking Contest

Maude Saunders held its annual Tropicana Public Speaking Contest in April.  Fifth grade winners were Gretchen Kent (1st place), Hannah Machado (2nd place) and Abby Knepper (alternate.)  Fourth grade winners were Zachary Benkoczy (1st place), Lindsey Pflugradt (2nd place), and Cindy Lin (alternate).  At the district competition, Zachary earned an award for Most Entertaining Speech and Lindsey won the Most Informative Speech award.  Congratulations to all the Maude Saunders speakers - we are proud of you!
