Walton High students that met the requirements for the 25 Book Challenge for the third quarter were rewarded with a trip to Blast Arcade at Baytowne Wharf on March 17.  These students have read a minimum of 21 books this school year and were rewarded for this accomplishment with game cards, pizza, and ice cream.

Congratulations to these 19 students for their hard work, dedication, and achievement toward this year-long goal!

WHS Hosts Blood Drive

Walton High School hosted a blood drive on March 16, and it was a huge success! Over 50 students and several teachers donated to this worthwhile cause. We appreciate everyone's willingness to give... and help save lives.

Several leprechauns were caught at BES in Ms. Syndey Martin's kindergarten class. They are usually good natured kindergarteners but today they all turned into leprechauns! Happy Saint Patrick’s Day!

Maude Saunders fifth graders serve as reading buddies to Kindergarten students and they make a very good team!

Third Grade Students at WDE performed surgery on word problems today.  Careful examination of each problem produced the RIGHT  answer! They learned to use the C.U.B.E.S. strategy efficiently on every case.
