Paxton Students Participate in a Mock Election

A group of Paxton students participated in a mock Florida Republican Primary Election with the "Kids Voting Tampa Bay" program. Students were able to vote online for a Republican Presidential candidate. 7th grade civics, 9th grade English Honors and 8th grade U. S. History classes voted. Students were required to research and compare candidates and fill out a Florida Voter Registration Application.
