The Walton County School District is proud to announce Youth Leadership Walton in conjunction with the Walton Area Chamber of Commerce and the Workforce Development Board of Okaloosa and Walton Counties. The program will be in pilot schools beginning in January 2009. Many counties across the state of Florida and states across the nation are implementing quality Leadership Skills courses to promising high school students. The purpose of the course is to provide an in-depth study of the leadership techniques of decision making, problem solving, meeting skills, communication, group conflict reduction, time and stress management, evaluation, team building, group dynamics, and motivational strategy. |
