“Linking Learning to Life’ says it all,” said Walton County School District Superintendent Carlene Anderson. Each year the Superintendent determines a focus and theme for the year. Our theme remains the same as last year with one slight change. We have added the word “Instruction”. This is to emphasize the need to focus on classroom instruction. Everything we plan and execute in every aspect of the school must support instruction in the classroom. Everyone must consider if responsibilities they perform focus on or distract from classroom instruction. Let’s all commit to remove any activity or function that distracts from our main cause…student achievement.
