STAR Screening Report  (3 minutes and 4 seconds in length)

The STAR screening report is the first place schools and teachers should begin their review of data. The screening report provides a broad overview of student performance. Data for STAR screening reports are collected during each testing window. This video will provide a quick look at how to access the screening report and understand the layout. 

STAR Diagnostic Report (3 minutes and 16 seconds in length)

The STAR diagnostic report provides a detailed review of each student’s performance for STAR Early Literacy, STAR Reading and STAR math. Diagnostic reports are updated after each STAR test. Review the video to take a look at how to access the diagnostic report as well as navigate the various sections on student performance. 

STAR Instructional Planning - Student Report  (1 minute and 19 seconds in length)

Each STAR Enterprise assessment consists of 34 questions. The first 27 questions determine a student’s ability level and begins building performance data to provide instructional recommendations. The last 7 questions are dedicated to collecting performance data to assist teachers with identifying student needs. The instructional planning – student report organizes this diagnostic information into a format users can use to inform instruction. This video will discuss the report and show how it is organized. 

STAR Instructional Planning - Class (5 minutes and 4 seconds in length)

Each STAR Enterprise assessment consists of 34 questions. The first 27 questions determine a student’s ability level and begins building performance data to provide instructional recommendations. The last 7 questions are dedicated to collecting performance data to assist teachers with identifying student needs. The instructional planning – class report allows users to group students based on performance and other valuable indicators. The report then provides instructional recommendations for each group based on test performance. This video will explain how the reporting tool functions and how to access resources aligned to the standards to assist in meeting students’ needs.

STAR:  Core Progressions (2 minutes and 2 seconds in length)

STAR is actively collecting, organizing and posting teaching resources aligned to standards on an ongoing basis. This video will walk users through the process of locating these resources and using the core progressions tool to help plan for instruction.
